One of the most damning indictments yet written of the Harper government has come from the pen of the widely respected, veteran political writer for the Winnipeg Free Press, Frances Russell. She accuses the government, with no ifs, ands or buts, of running a dictatorship, and documents her charge with an impressive list of 20 or more ways in which the government has been dictatorial towards Canadian freedoms, and subservient in the interests of big money, especially that of the oil and gas industry.
